Couples Coaching in Los Angeles and on Zoom

Each of you gets your own coach.

We’re Jaime and Yonatan Elkayam, a married coaching team. When a couple works with us, one of us coaches you and the other coaches your partner, in separate sessions.

That way your time together with a coach doesn’t turn into an hour of the arguments you saved up all week. It goes to your side of the pattern, the part only you can change.

12 sessions of 90 minutes each, from $4,500. In our studio or on Zoom. Your partner doesn’t have to be ready for you to begin.

Why we coach you separately

A lot of couples know the feeling of having the same argument over and over. The topic changes from week to week, and underneath it’s the same one.

With both of you in the room, it’s easy for a session to become a place to make your case. Each person is waiting for the coach to finally see it their way.

In your own sessions you can say what you actually feel without watching your partner’s face. We get curious about your part in it, like what you reach for when you’re hurt, or the thing you need and haven’t asked for yet.

Then you take that home. Very often, one person doing their own work is what changes the whole relationship. Here, both of you are doing it at the same time.

Is this right for you?

It may be a good fit if

  • You keep landing in the same argument, and you’d like to understand your part in it.
  • You love each other and still feel far apart, or stuck in roles neither of you chose.
  • One of you is ready and the other isn’t yet. You can start on your own.
  • You’d rather grow than find out who’s right.

It isn’t the right fit if

  • You don’t feel safe with your partner. Please reach out to a licensed professional, or call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233.
  • You’re in crisis, or you need diagnosis or clinical treatment. We’re coaches, and a licensed mental health professional is the right first step.
  • You’re hoping a coach will decide which of you is right.
  • You want every session together. Most of this work happens one to one.

Who you’ll work with

We started Word of Mouth together six years ago, and we coach from our studio in Los Angeles and on Zoom. On the discovery call we work out with you which of us coaches which partner.

How the three months work

It starts with a free discovery call. You tell us what’s happening between you, and we’re honest about whether we can help.

From there, each of you has one 90-minute session a week with your own coach, for twelve weeks. Sessions happen in our studio, on Zoom, or a mix of both.

We usually start with a little movement and some steadying breath so you can arrive, then most of the time goes to the coaching itself. Some days we close with Reiki or sound, if it feels right to you.

At the end of three months we look back together at where you are. Some people feel complete. Others choose to keep going.

What it costs

One partner

$4,500

  • Twelve weekly 90-minute sessions with Jaime or Yonatan
  • Or $1,500 a month, and $4,200 if you pay in full upfront
  • Your partner can join later, or not at all

What clients say about their relationships

Benji G 3 reviews

My wife and I knew we needed assistance, but every couples counselor we looked at felt cold and clinical, not what we were looking for. When we found Word of Mouth, something felt different. Jaime & Yonatan brought a warmth and humanity to the process that made us both feel safe. Their holistic approach to relationship coaching didn’t just help us communicate better, it guided us back to each other. Our relationship today is stronger than it has ever been. These two are genuinely special, and I mean it when I say this work saved my marriage.

Working with Yonatan and Jaime of Word of Mouth was a very impactful experience for us as a couple. Their coaching helped us deepen our communication, take more responsibility in our connection, and truly see each other with more compassion and honesty. Even now, we still use the exercises and tools they shared with us—they’ve become part of the foundation of our relationship. Yonatan and Jaime’s presence together is healing, grounding, and deeply authentic. They create a space where both partners can feel safe to grow and be real. We’re so grateful for their guidance and highly recommend them to any couple wanting to strengthen their bond and bring more consciousness into their relationship.

This isn’t a one‑off wellness experience, it’s a personal revolution. I’ve been a client at Word of Mouth for a long time and the long‑term support has been life‑changing. I’m clearer, happier and feel a deeper sense of purpose. My wife has mentioned that I’m more present with her and the kids a few times.Highly recommend for nervous system regulation and emotional healing. I’m glad I found this place, and you will be too.

What you say stays yours

Your sessions are private. Nothing you say goes to your partner without your agreement.

How much the two of us share with each other about your work is something we agree with you on the discovery call, before anything begins.

If there’s something you want your partner to hear, you decide when and how to say it, and we can help you prepare for that conversation.

Nothing about your work with us ever shows up on our website or social media.

Good Questions

Couples coaching, answered

No. Coaching is non-clinical and looks forward. We make room for your past, and the focus stays on how each of you wants to show up now. Coaching can sit well alongside therapy, and with your permission we’re happy to coordinate with your therapist. If you’re in crisis or need diagnosis or clinical treatment, please start with a licensed mental health professional.

Coaching vs therapy: which one fits where you are now?

No. You can start on your own, at the one-partner rate of $4,500. If your partner decides to join later, they can.

Not without your agreement. If you want your partner to know something, that’s yours to share, in your own time. How privacy works between the two of you and the two of us, we settle together before we begin.

Most of the work is one to one. When a joint session would serve the work, we talk it through with both of you first.

We decide it together with you on the discovery call.

Yes. Sessions can be in our Los Angeles studio, on Zoom from anywhere, or a mix of both. Each partner can choose what works for them.
