My session with Yonatan was very impactful. I was truly moved by his warm, gentle, and intuitive nature, and his genuine openness, which enabled the session to share a very connected and intimate space together. Overall, the physical aspect of the Reiki paired with the talking integration of my personal intention was very therapeutic, both physically and mentally. I noticed later that week how it was like a pressure valve that had been released, moving the blocked energy around and out of my body. I felt clearer, lighter, and more positive. Many thanks to Yonatan, I recommend his work highly.

What is breathwork for anxiety, and who does it help?
Breathwork for anxiety is a complementary practice, not a treatment for anxiety disorders. It does not diagnose or treat anxiety, panic disorder, or any other condition. It works alongside therapy and medication, never instead of either, much as the American Psychological Association recommends drawing on more than one tool to manage stress and anxiety. Sessions use conscious breathing, deliberate patterns like a slowed exhale or a paced hold, to shift the nervous system out of a threat response and into something calmer.
It tends to help people whose anxiety lives in the body as much as the mind: a compressed chest, a racing mind that will not quiet with thought alone, or the wired-but-exhausted feeling that shows up after therapy has done its cognitive work but the body has not caught up. Many clients arrive already in therapy and are looking for a body-based complement, not a replacement. Many arrive skeptical. You do not need to believe breathwork works for your nervous system to respond.
Breathwork is part of a session, not a session on its own
We do not sell breathwork as a standalone appointment. Breath is part of every session here, whatever you book, and formal breathwork comes in when it is the thing that will help.
The way in is a Reiki session. We start with a conversation about how you actually are, and the session goes where it needs to, breath included. If you would rather work over a longer arc, that is one-on-one coaching.
How breathwork supports an anxious nervous system
Anxiety keeps the body in sympathetic dominance: elevated cortisol, shallow chest-led breathing, and muscles braced for a threat that is not actually present. Conscious breathing gives the nervous system a direct input, one that does not require you to think your way out of the state.
Works below the thought level
You do not have to believe it will work or stay cognitively focused. The nervous system responds to breath rhythm on its own, independent of belief or effort.
Targets panic patterns specifically
A slowed, extended exhale and paced breath holds signal safety to the brain and interrupt the hypervigilance and chest tightness anxiety brings.
A practitioner adjusts in real time
Jaime or Yonatan reads your breath quality and nervous-system state throughout the session and can pause, slow down, or add grounding support. A recorded track cannot do that.
A complement, not a replacement
Breathwork works alongside therapy and medication, never instead of either. Many clients come with a referral from their own therapist.

What a breathwork session for anxiety looks like
Arrive and settle in
A short conversation about where you are that day, sleep, stress level, recent emotional events, calibrates the technique and pacing for the anxiety you are carrying into the room.
Guided breathwork
You lie down or sit comfortably while Jaime or Yonatan guides a conscious breathing sequence calibrated to your nervous-system state, gentler and slower for panic patterns, with grounding anchors built in throughout.
Integration and somatic coaching
The active breathing phase slows into a check-in and time for the body to consolidate what shifted. Most clients describe leaving lighter and more grounded than when they arrived.
This is what separates a session here from a breathwork recording: a practitioner who reads the room and adjusts, in a container built for anxiety specifically.
What clients say
I’ve been working with Jaime for over a year now. Her space is super calming and I find myself automatically smiling when I walk in the door. If you’re looking for a blend of fitness, mindfulness and life coaching with a healthy dose of relaxation, this is the place for you. I used to spend my time treating different parts of the body and mind in various places not considering the whole. Working at Word of Mouth has shown me a different way of approaching wellness uniting mind, body, emotion, spirit and community and it feels stickier and more transformative than other things I’ve done in the past. I can’t recommend it enough.
